The development of our local workforces' knowledge, skills, abilities, and opportunities is a responsibility we at CCED take pride in working towards every day. Without the hardwork and dedication of our skilled labor force we would not have the level of expansion and positive economic development that is begining to occur. The stronger the skills of our community, the better chance we have in attracting and retaining businesses that can thrive and support our area's ever growning needs.
This Committee is constantly looking for ways to help Cumberland County employers attract, retain, and train workers. This drive allows up to develop opportunities for new and displaced workers to find the training they need for the next step in their career path.
If you are an organization that supports these same endeavors let us know so we can link to your services and help those who need it most. We are always looking for partners in the Service and Private sectors to improve our area's workforce.
If you have a program, service, or would like CCED to assist you on an upcoming project or event, please contact:
