Five hundred dollars is not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things.

But to students who can't afford the training uniform needed to participate in the culinary arts, diesel technology or one of many other programs at the Cumberland-Perry Area Vocational Technical School, a donation like that to the school's uniform fund is significant.

Cumberland County Economic Development's Employment Taskforce on Tuesday presented a check for $500 to the school.  "This is our way of giving back," said Anthony Amadure, business development specialist at CCED.....
